Ljubivoje Lazic is a visual artist with a broad range of interests and skills, expressing his artistic visions through mediums of drawing, wood engraving and painting.

Currently he’s developing his extensive SPACE project, exploring and investigating fenomenon of Space combining contemporary theme and classical medium of graphite and color pencil drawing.

An accomplished engraver, he is making his mark in printmaking world with his large-format wood engravings. He developed an ultimately distinctive and highly personal approach to wood engraving, reaching almost painterly sensibility in this highly specialized technique. [ You can read the full article here.] His work “Rhinocéros” won Jean Chièze Award (GRAND PRIX) in Paris, France 2004, at the most prestigious wood engraving competition.

LJUBIVOJE LAZIC graduated at the Academy of Applied Arts & Design, University of Arts in Belgrade — specialized in printmaking and painting. He works as a designer of banknotes and securities at the Institute for Manufacturing Banknotes and Coins.
